THE HAPPY SAD was seen at the Public Theatre in New York as part of the Summer Play Festival. The show was directed by Trip Cullman and ran from Tuesday Juy 21 to Sunday July 26 at the Martinson Theater @ The Public. The play features Christopher Abbott, Ari Graynor, Sue Jean Kim, Maulik Pancholy, Heidi Schreck, Michael Stahl-David and Eddie Kaye Thomas. Photos and more information can be found here.
SENSE OF AN ENDING was read at the Williamstown Theatre Festival on Friday July 24 at 3pm. The reading was directed by Sam Gold. It was a celebration of the play winning the 2008 Weissberger Award.

SENSE OF AN ENDING Is named the winner of the 2008 L. Arnold Weissberger Award given by the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The Award goes to the best unproduced new American play. The play was nominated by The Huntington Theatre in Boston.

The Huntington Theater (Boston, MA) presented a reading of SENSE OF AN ENDING as part of their 2008 Breaking Ground Festival of new American plays.

The Flea (NYC) produced the early one-act version of THE HAPPY SAD as part of a double bill with Tommy Smith's The Break-Up. Previews began Thursday March 6th. Opening night was Saturday March 22nd. Due to audience demand, the show was extended and closed April 26. Directed by Sherri Kronfeld. With Felipe Bonilla, Havilah Brewster, Jane Elliot, Pete Forester, Stephen O'Reilly, John Russo and Annie Scott.
